Sunday adventures.

Recently I've started going on random wilderness adventures on Sundays. It's so nice to get out of the city and check out new places pretty much on my door step. The past few weeks have just been Lally and I going for drives, always resulting in ice creams.

We've climbed the Sugar Loaf,

Gone to Brittas Bay,

Cruised about Ashford and tried to go to some garden centre,

Had a gander in Wicklow town and just discovered some sweet places so close to us.

Today Laura and Kate came on adventures too. We went to Skerries because I'd never been and have heard it's delish. When I was a kid my Dad used to tell us that we were going on summer holidays to Skerries. For so long I didn't believe that it was a real place because I just thought he was having the biggest mess. I know for certain that it's a real place now. Anyway, we drove to Skerries and went on a class walk along the beach and then back through the town and got ice creams, obv. They were the biggest fucking ice creams ever. Nom. The houses in Skerries are actually unreal. They're so different from one another and so quirky in their own respects. I'd be cool with living there when I'm older.

Laura drove today because she knew how to get to Skerries. I find it really weird being a passenger in a car. All I want to do is look out the window and soak in the sights because I never get the chance to when I'm driving. I love driving so much but missing out on incredible scenery sucks.

We're having a family dinner in my gaff this evening, because it's Easter. I'm not really looking forward to it but the food will be sweet and then I'm going cruising with Lally afterward. Delish times :)
